Stroller

There is no doubt that New York City is one of the richest cities in visual terms. Its cultural diversity, its advertising strategies, the parks and even seasonal changes have made It one of the most desired destinations for millions of people around the world.

However, what is the perception of a toddler in front of all this visual richness? I wanted to answer that question when my son, Ignacio (2), came to visit me for the first time to New York. Thus, the Stroller series was born, in which a series of images showed from inside the stroller shows iconic places of the city as well as the daily experiences of Ignacio and his parents.

For this project, I installed a GoPro camera, set to take pictures every 10 seconds, inside of the stroller, which was covered with a plastic cover to protect it from rain and cold, creating contrasting images between the internal reality of the Stroller and the distortion created by the plastic on the outside.
